1st XI – Abandoned v Woodhouses
A frustrating afternoon for the first team as their game with Woodhouses was abandoned. The visitors had been put under early pressure, reduced to 24-4 from 11 overs, with Will Purser (3) and Richard Slatem (1) striking early.

Following a short rain delay, the umpires deemed conditions unfit despite clear skies and plenty of time remaining — a decision that left everyone disappointed given the strong position Heywood had built.

2nd XI – Abandoned
The second team’s fixture was also washed out, with no play possible.

3rd XI – Defeat v Failsworth Macedonia
The third team posted a competitive 191-8 from 40 overs, thanks to an excellent opening stand of 113 between Aaron Russell (67) and Zak Saleem (78).

However, Failsworth Macedonia chased the target comfortably, reaching it for the loss of just 3 wickets with 8 overs to spare.
