Another excellent team performance saw the 2nd XI defeat Egerton by 57 runs. Benji McCulloch top scored with 51 in Heywood’s 194-7, before Matt Fern, Ollie Rawlinson and Mikey Grogan all claimed 3 wickets as the hosts were dismissed for 137.

The Thirds completed a clean sweep on Sunday with a 35-run victory over Whalley Range. Captain Joey O’Neill led the batting with 57 in Heywood’s 192-8, before youngster Seth Bhimull-Hilton impressed with 2 wickets as the visitors were restricted to 157-4.
