Everyone at Heywood Cricket Club is incredibly proud of Oli Staley, who has been selected to represent Action Indoor Cricket England (AICE) at the Junior World Series in South Africa this September. After a demanding two-year trial process, Oli earned his place in the England Under-15 squad through hard work, dedication and a real passion for the game.
Anyone who has watched Oli develop over the years knows just how much effort he has put into reaching this point. This is a fantastic achievement and a dream come true for a talented young cricketer.
As with many representative tours, the trip is largely self-funded, with costs expected to be around £3,500. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Oli get one step closer to wearing the England shirt on the world stage.
