Heywood suffered an 83-run defeat away at Woodhouses. After bowling the hosts out for 204, skipper Will Purser led from the front with an excellent 5-38. However, the batting couldnβt build any momentum, with only Sean Burrill (42) and Ed Dickinson (36) making significant contributions as Heywood were bowled out for 121 with 15 overs remaining.

The Thirds were beaten away at Cheetham Hill United. Heywood were dismissed for 118, before the hosts reached their target for the loss of six wickets.

The bright spot of the weekend came from the Development Team, who recorded an excellent 42-run victory over Egerton. Umer Khan top scored with an unbeaten 36 as Heywood made 170-6, before Henry McDermott claimed 3 wickets to help restrict the visitors to 128-8.
