A mixed weekend across the club, with some excellent victories and a cup semi-final to look forward to! 💚

1st XI
The 1st XI went down by 5 wickets to Denton St Lawrence. Heywood posted 204 all out, thanks to half-centuries from Greg Butterworth (53) and Will Purser (51), but the hosts reached their target at 205-5.

2nd XI ✅
A brilliant 3-wicket victory for the 2nd XI against Stretford. The visitors were bowled out for 154, with Ollie Rawlinson and Seth Bhimull-Hilton both claiming 3 wickets. In reply, Aaron Russell's 43 helped steer Heywood to 155-7.

3rd XI 🏆
The Thirds booked their place in the Cup Semi-Final with a convincing 7-wicket win over Bury. Henry McDermott starred with a superb 5-16, supported by Dean Ashton (3-23), before Steve Hoole (46) and James Eckersley (29)* guided Heywood to 128-3.

Development XI ✅
Another outstanding performance from the Development Team, who defeated Unsworth by 64 runs. Leigh Dickinson (30), Shay Kilpatrick (20) and Ellie Clarkson (19) helped Heywood to 128-7, before Tom Heywood stole the show with a sensational 7-16 as Unsworth were dismissed for 64.

Heywood Phoenix
The Ladies were desperately unlucky, falling to a 2-run defeat against Prestwich. Jen Baker top scored with 17 in a spirited performance.
