1st XI ✅
Heywood eased to a 7-wicket victory over relegation-threatened Mottram. The visitors were blown away for just 71, thanks to a sensational spell from Richard Slatem, who claimed 8 wickets. In reply, Heywood wasted little time, knocking the runs off in just under 13 overs to secure a maximum 6-point haul, with Marty Walters smashing 29 from just 11 balls.

The Second XI were beaten by Worsley despite a fine individual display from Matt Fern. Worsley posted 238, with Fern taking an excellent 6-52 and Bradley Gosling supporting well with 3-50. In reply, Heywood were dismissed for 135, with Fern completing a superb personal performance by top scoring with 51.

The Development Team continued their impressive form with victory over Astley Bridge. Heywood dismissed the visitors for 157, led by Mhaaz Khan’s outstanding 4-7, while Henry McDermott chipped in with 3 wickets. In reply, Heywood reached their target for the loss of five wickets, with Matt Fern continuing his rich vein of form with an unbeaten 50.
